While getting some good food from the Haus, my brother managed to capture a fly. He then decided that this fly needed to become supper for the venus fly trap in my room. Matthew and Jason were lucky enough to be a witness of the plant being fed around 6:30PM. After the fly was good and stuck, I went on to explain what I learned about the plant for the following 30 minutes. One of the fun facts was that the plants aren’t meant to eat more than one or two bugs a week. So far mine has had 3 including the fly. Hopefully this venus fly trap handles the bugs like a champ. If you want to see this unique plant and/or learn about it, feel free to stop by 309!
